Samsung Galaxy S4 Active going viral: release date, specs unclear

It comes with great metallic body and top features. The new version of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ‘s release date and specs are unclear as yet

Samsung Galaxy S Active is going viral on the internet right now. Though the Korean tech giant is yet to speak a single word about the handset, nonetheless, the whole world seems to be loving it. If Galaxy S4 was being talked as a bit cheap looking, this seems to be completely opposed to what and how Galaxy S4 looked. It is a beautiful handset with beautiful body and the same specs as Galaxy S4 original.
Its metallic body is the most beautiful part of the newly leaked handset. The body looks more beautiful than anything we have seen not just from Sammy but from all Android handset manufacturers launched in the market so far. Even Taiwanese tech giant HTC’s flagship handset HTC One is really not as beautiful as this Galaxy S Active.
Most of the critic’s anger or criticism towards Samsung’s Galaxy S4 was directed at its plasticy and cheap looking body. But with metallic body, their criticism has been removed and now they have nothing to complain.
Though there is slight difference in specs of Galaxy S4 original and Galaxy S4 Active, much of the specs remain the same. Reports suggest that the new metallic handset is powered by quad-core 1.9GHz processor with Adreno 320 GPU. It comes with 5.0-inch screen with fullHD display. The only major difference is an 8 mega pixel camera in the Galaxy S4 Active. In Galaxy S4 original the handset has 13 mega pixel camera.

IPL spot-fixing: Rajasthan Royals terminate contract of tainted trio

Jaipur: Beleaguered Rajasthan Royals on Monday terminated the contract of the three players -- including India pacer S Sreesanth -- arrested on charges of spot-fixing in the ongoing IPL besides filing an FIR against the tainted trio.

"Based on the information provided by the authorities, the contracts of all three players have been suspended pending enquiry," Rajasthan Royals chairman Ranjit Barthakur said in a statement.

"We have already filed a complaint with the Delhi Police against all three players earlier today," he added.

The IPL last week found itself engulfed in a sensational spot-fixing scandal after Sreesanth and two of his Rajasthan Royals teammates were arrested by the police which claimed that they received upto Rs 60 lakh from bookies for bowling one manipulated over.

The IPL today stepped up security for the four remaining teams in the cash-rich T20 league by providing them an officer each from the Anti Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU).

"The security deployment for the team has been expanded, again in close consultation with the BCCI. The franchise is in daily contact with the police authorities in Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai for providing any cooperation/information that they might require," Barthakur added.

A special cell of the Delhi police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates -- Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan -- in Mumbai last Thursday for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches as per arrangements with bookies, who have underworld connections abroad.

Rajasthan said the franchise has "initiated" additional internal measures.

"We have initiated additional internal measures, all developed with the full support of the players at their weekend regroup in Jaipur."

Barthakur further added: "The franchise has been hit very hard across the board, and we have executed the strongest possible course of action in keeping with our zero-tolerance approach to these terrible actions.

"As stated earlier, we will protect the good, as well as seek punishment for the bad."
