Anushka Sharma, Sakshi Dhoni are school-buddies from way back when

Anushka and Sakshi have discovered that they had lived in the same town and been to the same school together.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma may claim to get along better with boys rather than girls but it looks like she has finally found herself a new friend in Sakshi Dhoni.

Anushka was spotted playing the photogenic brand ambassador for a camera launch in the capital on Tuesday afternoon but it wasn't just the actor's sunny demeanor - she was wearing yellow for the event - it was also her surprise camaradrie with Mrs Dhoni that clicked with the media.

When they got talking, Anushka and Sakshi discovered that they had lived in the same town and been to the same school together. Anushka said, "Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too. And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I'm dressed in a ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny."

We think it's extremely funny that Anushka and Sakshi should have been to school together and not known it till now. Small world, as they say.
