According to reports, the Supreme Court has ordered arbitrator to complete the proceedings positively within the next six weeks.
The order came after the film's producer Amit Mehra's brothers, Sumeet and Puneet, approached the SC against the HC order.
Amit Mehra is son of late Prakash Mehra who directed original Zanjeer. Amit's brothers Sumit and Puneet alleges that Amit, who had bought the film's right from them, defaulted on payments resulting to which they terminated the contract.
The remake of Zanjeer features Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Sri Hari, Prakash Raj and Mahie Gill. The film was slated for release this June.
